Birthday Parties

Party Packages Include:

• Horse Rides, Horse Grooming, Petting Area – see below for a full description of activities
• Newly renovated party room
• Up to 10 participants (Ages 5 and up)

Package #1 Includes:   1 hour riding and grooming with 2 horses, 1 hour in the party room, $20 gift certificate for lessons. Total length: 2 hours.  $350 

Package #2 Includes:  1 hour riding and grooming with 3 horses, 1 hour in the party room, $25 gift certificate for lessons. Total length: 2 hours.  $450

You may bring up to 10 children for the party to take turns riding the horses. We require a completed Party_Waiver_Form for each person participating with the horses.

Riders will need to wear boots with 1/2 inch heel (can be rubber boots, we have some that can be borrowed) and long pants for those who will be riding.  We will supply approved riding helmets.

Parties are available primarily Saturday afternoons, we are closed on Sundays.  Some weekdays are available outside of regular lesson days. A non-refundable deposit of $150 is due upon booking and the balance to be paid one week before the day of the party.  Payments are made to Horse Sense for Kids, e transfers can be sent to: horsesenseforkids@gmail.com.

Party Activities:

Horse Rides:  Horse rides are tailored to each group’s age and riding experience. For younger and/or new riders, horses will be lead in our outdoor ring or indoor arena depending on the weather. For older and/or riders with experience, we will give each rider the opportunity to learn how to ride on their own. Each rider will have an instructor to work with them at their own level providing the support they need, whether it’s their first time on a horse or if they are a regular rider. Long pants, boots with a ½ inch heel and waiver forms are required for each rider. Riders must be 5 years of age or older.  Helmets are supplied.

Horse Grooming:  A favourite activity of all horse lovers is the opportunity to brush a horse. Children will learn how to work around a horse safely and experience using a variety of grooming tools on the horses. It’s a great chance to get up close and personal with one of our wonderful horses.

Petting Area:  Enjoy visiting our miniature horses, miniature donkey, pot-bellied pig and rabbits!   All our animals are very friendly and enjoy visitors of all ages!

Discovery Centre – Party Room:  The Discovery Centre is newly renovated and offers a great space for food and other activities – all while you keep your house clean!

A completed Waiver_Form is required for each participant.
