Horse Sense For Kids

Brenda and Rob Langendoen are proud to have created a non-profit organization, Horse Sense for Kids that operates out of BNR Stables.  The goal of the charity is assist at-risk youth children (from low income homes and/or with mental health concerns) to be able to participate and share in the wonder and joy of horses!  Horseback riding is a more expensive sport and many children don’t even think riding and working with horses is possible.  We believe every child should have access to this incredible sport and all the therapeutic and life enhancing attributes it has to offer regardless of their circumstances.

Horse Sense for Kids partners with community organizations to provide this unique opportunity for as many children as possible.  We depend on the generosity of businesses and individuals to sponsor and/or donate to the Horse Sense for Kids program to be help cover the costs of the children to participate in our horsemanship programs.  Contact Us if you would like more information or would like to make a donation!

Horse Sense For Kids offers a subsidy program for low income families – if you are interested in applying for financial assistance, contact Brenda at horsesensforkids@gmail.com.
